Having trouble with your records search?

The results shown don’t include the right records or I think they’re for a different property?

There are several reasons unexpected results may appear:

Address Issues:   In compliance with the Kitsap County Address project we are diligently updating our records on a continual basis.  We have catalogued both the historical, and the newly assigned address for each property to assure you have access to complete property records.   If records aren’t showing up under your existing address, try searching with the historical address and vice versa.

What if I don’t know whether the address I have is the current address, the historical address or if it was ever changed?  A record of all changes is maintained by the County and you can search the Kitsap County Address History Report on-line to find out the address details of your particular property.

Modify Your Search Terms – when conducting a search the tips below may prove useful in locating the records you need:

“123 Lilihammer” will not include properties catalogued under “123 Lilyhammer” ; “123 Lilyhamer” or “123 Lily Hammer”… so try common misspellings – we all do our best but these records started out being hand-written and entered manually so bear with us and get creative in your spelling.   Find an error?  Send us an email – we’ll be happy to make the correction.

“345 Magic Circle” will not display properties catalogued under “Magic Cir”, “Magic C.”,  “345 Magic” etc..  Limit the search terms to just the street number and street name.

I still can’t find what I need?

Try looking up your parcel’s tax identification number and search for records by Assessor Account Number (Tax ID).  If you don’t have a particular parcel’s tax ID number readily available you can obtain it from the parcel search page located within the Kitsap County website.

I was searching by Tax ID and I still don't see it?  Try searching by address.  If you aren’t aware of a particular parcel’s valid address, try using the parcel search page located within the Kitsap County website to enter the tax id and obtain the resulting address.

I don’t see my recent approval in the results?

We do our best to scan records within 72 hours of approval.  However, if you don’t see what you need please contact us between the hours of 8:00 am and 4:30 pm by calling (360) 728-2235 and we’ll be happy to assist you.

Where are the old search links?

We have launched a newer and better geospatial tool which not only provides similar search functionality as our old search system, but users can zoom in to a location and click on a property and view information associated with it. The application also provides many useful layers that the users can turn on and off and interact with.

If you still need access to the legacy text based search tools you can click on the links below.
